Beacon Rail Announces the Appointment of Four New Members of its Board

LUXEMBOURG – Beacon Rail Lux Holdings S.à r.l., the parent company of the Beacon Rail Leasing group, is pleased to announce the appointment of four new members of the company’s board of managers. The new board members are: 

Keith Howard, an experienced UK and European rail industry executive and consultant, has been appointed Chairman. Keith is a director of Belvoir Consulting Limited and a non-executive advisor to Icomera, provider of open Internet connectivity and application platforms for passenger transport and public safety.

Frank Dorjee, a former senior executive for a leading European manufacturer, and partner at KPMG. Frank is a director of Koole Terminals and is a chartered accountant in the Netherlands.

Andreas Knitter, a former senior executive of a major European supplier of railway technology. Andreas is a non-executive advisor within the industry.

Wolfgang Meyer, a German rail industry executive with extensive experience in public and regional rail transportation. Wolfgang is the CEO of LINEARIS Beratungs-GmbH.

In announcing the appointment, Beacon Rail CEO Theodore Gaffney said: “We are very pleased with the new composition of our board. Each of our new board members will bring significant industrial, market and financial experience to Beacon, and we look forward to working closely with our new board members as we continue to strive to be the leading provider of high utility rolling stock to the Pan-European passenger and freight operator base.”

In taking up his appointment, Keith Howard said:
